The Humanz are a subversive hacker group that are opposed to Ken Castle's games Society and Slayers. Their members are skilled programmers who are able to perform sophisticated intrusions into highly secured computer networks.
In one case the group is able to hack into a television network during an interview with Ken Castle. On another occasion the group hacks into Society causing all contact between Society City and an estimated three quarters of a million players to shut down for more than three hours. Experts estimate that this attack alone would end up costing Castle billions in lost revenue.
